How do we schedule a tour?

Just call or email us and with a day and time in mind and we will reserve your departure time.

 What time should I be at the airport for my tour?

You need to be at the airport 15 minutes before your departure time or your tour may leave without you.

 How long will everything take once I arrive?

We need you at the airport 15 minutes before your departure time and you can expect to be leaving the airport in your car an hour from the time you arrive.

 How far is Chicago Executive Airport from downtown?

Without traffic it’s about a 30 minute drive, but who are we kidding, there is always traffic! So expect the drive to take as long as 1hour and 15min in high traffic times.

 Where do we fly and how long are we actually in the helicopter?

You fly downtown directly over and through the city. Helicopter flight time is aprox 27 -30 min and 5-7 min of loading and unloading the helicopter.

 Can I do a tour on a day other than Thursday, Friday, or Saturday?

Yes! But it will be charged at our regular charter rate of $729hr.

 Will other people be in the helicopter with us?

All regular 2 person tours will be accompanied by another 2 person tour. 4 passenger and private tours do not have other people flying with you.

 Can we have the helicopter to ourselves?

Yes! Any 2 passenger tour can be made private for an additional charge.

 What if there are only 3 of us? Is there a price for a 3 person tour?

Unfortunately all tour flights cost us the same to operate whether there is 1 person or 4 in the helicopter! So no there is no discount for 3 people, you will need to purchase the 4 person tour.

 Can I cancel or reschedule my tour?

Yes as long as you give us at least 48 hours notice from your departure time you can cancel or reschedule your tour at no charge. Within 48 hours there is fee for canceling or changing equal to half of your tour price, and if you do not show or call us at all you will be charged for the full amount of your scheduled tour.

What sort of weather prevents you from flying?

We cannot fly in thunderstorms or low visibility. If you cant see the city then we can’t fly! We will reschedule your tour at no charge.

What happens if there is bad weather?

Weather men know nothing! So CHE keeps a close eye on the weather and will try to give you as much notice as possible if your tour has to be canceled. We try to give you 24 hour notice but no less than 3 hour notice. If your tour has to be canceled you will be contacted directly by CHE and we will reschedule at no charge.

I bought a voucher but I want to upgrade, can I do that?

Yes you can. Just give us a call and you can upgrade to any tour you would like by simply paying the difference in price directly to CHE.
